Programmable Triple Foot Pedal for Hands-Free Computer Control

The Kinesis Savant Elite2 Triple Pedal (FP30A) is a professional-grade USB foot controller that delivers hands-free computer control—enabling transcriptionists, programmers, gamers, CAD operators, and power users to execute commands, shortcuts, and macros without lifting hands from keyboard or mouse. Offload frequently-used actions to your feet and dramatically improve workflow efficiency while reducing repetitive hand strain.

Why Professionals Choose Savant Elite2

  • 3 Programmable Pedals: Each pedal independently programmable for any keyboard key, mouse click, or complex macro sequence—unlimited customization for your workflow
  • Driverless Programming: Configure pedals directly on the device without software installation—settings stored in onboard memory work on any computer
  • Advanced Macro Support: Program multi-step sequences, keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Alt+Tab, etc.), and custom commands for workflow automation
  • Cross-Platform Compatible: Works plug-and-play with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS—no drivers required for basic operation
  • Heavy-Duty Steel Base: 6.6 lb steel construction prevents sliding during use and withstands years of daily professional operation
  • Onboard Memory: Settings stored in the pedal travel with you to any computer—no reconfiguration needed
  • Tactile Feedback: 0.5" pedal travel with positive tactile response confirms activation without visual distraction

Productivity Benefits for Power Users

Foot pedals eliminate repetitive hand movements for frequently-used commands, reducing RSI risk and increasing workflow efficiency. Transcriptionists control audio playback without leaving the keyboard, programmers execute build/compile commands hands-free, gamers bind critical actions to feet for competitive advantage, CAD operators zoom and pan while maintaining mouse precision, video editors control timeline playback without interrupting editing flow, and medical coders navigate records without constant mouse reaching.

The productivity gain comes from eliminating the constant hand repositioning required for frequently-used commands. Instead of moving your hand from keyboard to mouse to click play/pause dozens of times per hour, simply tap a foot pedal. This saves seconds per action—compounding to hours saved per week for high-frequency users.

Who It's Built For

Essential for transcriptionists controlling audio playback (play, pause, rewind, fast-forward), medical coders and court reporters navigating records hands-free, programmers executing build/compile/debug commands, gamers seeking competitive advantage with foot-activated actions, CAD and 3D modeling operators controlling view navigation, video and audio editors managing timeline playback, musicians using DAW software for recording control, and anyone seeking hands-free computer control for workflow optimization. Particularly effective for users with hand injuries, RSI, carpal tunnel, or arthritis requiring reduced keyboard/mouse interaction.

Common Use Cases by Profession

Transcriptionists & Medical Coders

Assign left pedal to rewind, center to play/pause, right to fast-forward. Control audio playback without lifting hands from keyboard—dramatically increasing transcription speed and reducing hand fatigue from constant mouse reaching.

Programmers & Developers

Assign pedals to build, compile, run, or debug commands. Execute frequent development actions hands-free while keeping hands on keyboard for coding. Bind pedals to IDE shortcuts, terminal commands, or custom scripts.

Gamers

Bind critical actions (jump, crouch, reload, push-to-talk, ability activation) to foot pedals, freeing up fingers for weapon switching, movement, and aiming. Gain competitive advantage by executing more actions simultaneously. Heavy steel base prevents pedal movement during intense gaming sessions.

CAD & 3D Modeling

Assign pedals to zoom, pan, rotate, or view switching. Navigate 3D space hands-free while maintaining mouse precision for modeling operations. Eliminate constant keyboard shortcuts that interrupt design flow.

Video & Audio Editing

Control timeline playback (play, pause, mark in/out points, scrub) with feet while keeping hands on mouse for editing precision. Assign pedals to frequently-used effects, transitions, or tool switches.

Musicians & DAW Users

Control recording (record, play, stop, punch-in/out) hands-free while playing instruments or adjusting mix controls. Assign pedals to transport controls, track arming, or effect toggles.

Ergonomic Benefits for RSI Prevention

Repetitive strain injuries develop from performing the same hand movements thousands of times daily. Offloading frequently-used commands to foot pedals reduces repetitive hand movements, decreasing RSI risk and preventing carpal tunnel syndrome. Users with existing hand injuries, arthritis, or limited hand mobility can continue working productively by shifting critical functions to feet.

The natural foot motion requires minimal effort and doesn't interfere with typing or mouse operation. Your feet are idle while working at a computer—putting them to productive use reduces hand workload without adding physical strain.

Why Savant Elite2 Outperforms Generic Foot Pedals

Unlike cheap plastic foot switches with limited programming, the Savant Elite2 features:

  • Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: 6.6 lb steel base stays firmly planted during use—cheap plastic pedals slide around
  • Onboard Programming: No software dependency—your settings work on any computer without reconfiguration
  • Advanced Macro Support: Complex multi-step sequences impossible with basic foot switches
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Works on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS—generic pedals often Windows-only
  • Kinesis Quality: Reliable operation through years of daily professional use—cheap pedals fail within months
  • Tactile Feedback: Positive pedal response confirms activation—cheap switches feel mushy and unreliable

Gaming Applications

Competitive gamers bind critical actions (jump, crouch, reload, push-to-talk, ability activation) to foot pedals, freeing up fingers for weapon switching, movement, and aiming. The tactile pedal feedback provides instant confirmation without visual distraction. Heavy steel base prevents pedal movement during intense gaming sessions.

Popular gaming bindings: Left pedal = crouch/slide, Center = jump, Right = reload or push-to-talk. This allows simultaneous movement (WASD), aiming (mouse), weapon switching (number keys), and jumping/crouching (feet)—impossible with hands alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to install software or drivers?

No! The Savant Elite2 works plug-and-play on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS. Basic programming is done directly on the device without any software. Optional SmartSet software is available for advanced macro programming if desired.

How do I program the pedals?

Press and hold the programming button, tap the pedal you want to program, press the key or key combination you want to assign, then release the programming button. Your settings are stored in onboard memory and work on any computer.

Can I program keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+C or Alt+Tab?

Absolutely! You can program any keyboard key, modifier combinations (Ctrl, Alt, Shift), mouse clicks, and even multi-step macro sequences. The onboard programming supports complex key combinations.

Will my settings work on different computers?

Yes! Settings are stored in the pedal's onboard memory, so they travel with you to any computer. Plug it into a different machine and your programming is already there—no reconfiguration needed.

Does the pedal slide around during use?

No. The heavy-duty steel base weighs 6.6 lbs, which keeps it firmly planted during use. Unlike cheap plastic foot switches that slide around, the Savant Elite2 stays exactly where you place it.

What's the difference between FP30A and FP30AJ models?

FP30A is the standard three-pedal model. FP30AJ includes a jack connector allowing you to add additional pedals or customize your setup. Choose FP30A for standard use, FP30AJ if you need expansion capability.

Can I use this for transcription work?

Absolutely! Transcriptionists are one of the primary user groups. Assign left pedal to rewind, center to play/pause, right to fast-forward. Control audio playback without lifting hands from keyboard—dramatically increasing transcription speed.

Will this work with my transcription software?

Yes! The pedals send standard keyboard commands, so they work with any transcription software (Express Scribe, InqScribe, oTranscribe, etc.). Program the pedals to match your software's keyboard shortcuts.

Can I use this for gaming?

Definitely! Gamers use foot pedals to bind critical actions (jump, crouch, reload, push-to-talk) to feet, freeing up fingers for movement, aiming, and weapon switching. The heavy steel base prevents movement during intense gaming sessions.

How much does the pedal weigh and why does that matter?

The pedal weighs 6.6 lbs due to its heavy-duty steel construction. This weight prevents the pedal from sliding around during use—a common problem with lightweight plastic foot switches. The weight ensures stability without requiring you to anchor it to the floor.

What's the cable length?

The USB cable is 6 feet long, providing ample reach for most desk setups. If you need additional length, you can use a standard USB extension cable.

Can I program macros or multi-step sequences?

Yes! The Savant Elite2 supports macro programming. For basic macros, use onboard programming. For advanced multi-step sequences with conditional logic, use the optional SmartSet software (Windows/Mac).

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!
